what do you think would happen if your b3ta self mingled with your real self?
I reckon i'd be telling loads of people to fuck off and they'd all hate me

I am exactly the same in real life

(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 22:20, Reply)

I'm much funnier in person

Is your passport application going off this weekend?

(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 22:35, Reply)
Me too
I can't honestly say my online persona is any different to my offline one.
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 22:23, Reply)
I'd get disowned for trying to find puns in everything and for telling shit jokes.

(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 22:25, Reply)

Do you get told to 'leave the classroom' on a regular basis, or do the kids just write 'LTC' on the blackboard?

(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 22:34, Reply)
I mostly get away with embarrassed looks and groans
I get to tell them to leave the classroom, though, when any of them says bad things about dr who
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 22:35, Reply)
Have you managed to make the kids laugh yet?

(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 22:37, Reply)
oh yeah - more than one occassion
I got a round of applause for one pun
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 22:38, Reply)
That must have been quite a moment.
Please, share the pun with the group.
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 22:38, Reply)
it was quite context based, so it may not work here
it was a forensics group and for some reason someone had left condiments on the table (odd things like that happen in the photography department) and I was getting the batteries out for the lesson.

Hence I got to make a pun about a salt and battery.

I high 5'ed them all, too
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 22:41, Reply)
most of my lessons
are me arsing about
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 22:43, Reply)
I hope you took the high 5s as a condiment yourself.

(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 22:44, Reply)
Oh yeah - how did your presentation go?

(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 22:39, Reply)
It was a bit strange to be honest.
The people I met with had 'duped' me slightly, and rather than doing the usual thing of saying 'this is me, this is what I do, this is how I can help you' they'd dragged in most of their project team, so the questions and conversation were really specific to the project they are (currently) working on.

I think I may have unwittingly done a few hours work for them for nothing. I'm having another conversation with them next week and we'll see where we go from there.
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 22:43, Reply)
hmmm
I hope you told them some lies so they'd break something and you'd have to fix it
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 22:57, Reply)
Interesting idea.
But if their lasting memory of me is 'That fucking Bristolian gave us shit advice' I'd say it would be unlikely they'd look to offer me hard cash for any further advice I might feel like offering.
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 22:59, Reply)
secret bad advice...
...like a verbal virus
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 23:00, Reply)
