Today will be awesome
I'm going guitar shopping in Birmingham with Pooflake in an hour, Then we'll hit the pub and later I'm out with G/F and daughter for a chinese meal.
Beat that, pasty sweaty-palmed internet shut-ins! What excitements does your day hold?
Alt: Most over-rated band ever? (No points for U2, that's a given)

I'm going to do some housework
Before going to the pub.
Alt; The Beatles.

Agree on the Beatles
Lots of good catchy tunes but best band ever?

Dick about online, watch racing in the pub, see a few bands.
Alt, this "Third Summer of Love", as it's being touted here in Manchester. New Order, Roses and Mondays reforming. The Mondays were good, but the other two were massively overrated. And come to that, New Order were going years before the Madchester hype, so it's not even correct.
Morning rant over, as you were.

New Order made some decent tunes but he cannot sing
Mondays and Stone Roses did some decent tunes too

The Mondays were best ot those 3. Not sure what they'll be like now, 20 odd years after their heyday.

Depends what you're after.
If you are buying a guitar, I suggest you visit the guitar shop. If you want to be completely irrational, have your hair go greasy and develop a chocolate requirement then PMT.

In typical Pooflake fashion we've been to 3 shops and he can't decide
Wants an acoustic/electric - must be black (God knows why) and have the right sound. Tossup between a Fender and some Yamahas. I don't like the Fender personally but I'm not buying it!
Onward and upward!

Oooh. Cavy.
I was going to text you yesterday (but couldn't be arsed in the end). I was walking through Bristol Bus Station and I noticed there is a branch of Greggs outside it.
Not just any Greggs. But a 'special' one with inside and outside seating. It's the Greggs restaurant you've always craved.

For the first time this season, Bristol City don't have a goal keeper on the bench.
David James, playing his last game has just gone down injured.
That'll be defender Liam Fontain pulling on the gloves.
It won't be 0 - 0 much longer.

I'm off daah'n the boozer later to watch the toon match. I can maybe see a banana skin heading our way, even though it's Wigan.
