It's almost as if they haven't got a fucking clue what they are doing.
They'll probably make a u-turn on this idea soon anyway.

They could encourage Greggs franchises and get their money back that way

Not anymore
Greggs sell food that has been warmed, not warm food.

Buisness grants for young people and small buisnesses are a good idea.
but it would be much better if they gave £25000 to 10 times less people who have the best plans.
(, Tue 29 May 2012, 13:59, Reply)
you are so elitist
they shoulod give everyone £2.50, it's the only way that's fair
(, Tue 29 May 2012, 14:01, Reply)
to be fair £2500 is enough to get some tools and start a handyman style buisness
but I don't think that every unemployed below 24 should get a handyman job.
(, Tue 29 May 2012, 14:05, Reply)
should be enough for a webstart up maybe?
Although you'd need to m ake monery pretty damn quick
(, Tue 29 May 2012, 14:07, Reply)
Nah, Gonz would know more than me but I don't think that's enough for a serious web start up.

(, Tue 29 May 2012, 14:08, Reply)
It all depends on the start up, any kind of bespoke stuff would more than likely cost more though.
So if it's like a blog or an eCom shop, then they could do it for that price.
(, Tue 29 May 2012, 14:11, Reply)
I suppose you could start an ebay wholesalers sort of thing for that price pretty easily.

Selling back issues of Bunty?

(, Tue 29 May 2012, 14:13, Reply)
That's the big thing about the vast majorty of people who I meet who have a website/buisness idea...
... they forget that _buisness_ comes first. They'd have to buy stock of some kind, buyers of some kind, work out the profits.

And people who talk about all that, are generally to lazy to do anything beyond the initial concept, and their prime reason is so they don't have to work again. Those people will always fail in buisness and life in general.
(, Tue 29 May 2012, 14:20, Reply)
Yep, you're going to have to be working 6-7 days a week for the next five years if you want to be a success.

At least when a goverment performs a "u-turn" they are admitting that something is wrong
it would be worse to plow on regardless
(, Tue 29 May 2012, 14:00, Reply)

wrong unpopular

A good point from the bent spastic there.
Changing you mind on something is not a bad thing, it's good to change you mind if the evidence changes. granted in this case they are bowing down to pressure, but isn't that what the peepul, bless the flabby little black hearts want?

The sooner you get help, the better
Agreeing with Nakers? You've changed, man.
