BBQ!
Meat, sunburn and drinking
Money saving tips:
Buy in bulk, cook loads at a time then freeze into individual portions. Take lunch to work rather than buy sandwich there.
Don't go out - watch films, drink, etc at home

Leftovers are ace.
They make the best butties, especially covered in a spicy sauce.

I've got a shoot for the beeb tonight, at gig with that lovable Scouse scamp Craig Charles, in his guise as a funk and soul dj. He's actually got a very good musical taste, he's just a tad irritating.
Tomorrow I'm off to the Caribbean Carnival, good day out. Sunday will be a traditional sit in the beer garden, and get hammered.
Regarding you poverty, check out moneysavingexpert.com, and their forums/newsletter, always something cheap there.

Although his mixing skills leave something to be desired, he had an excellent range of tunes

My expenses claim has been rejected because "train fare" isn't a valid buisness expense. I had to put "Team meeting" and put the catergory as "Travel"
GREAT EH

She seems to spend most of the year thinking we are broke and forcing us to scrimp and save and them suddenly she can afford a new car or a trip to Disneyland. Funny how that works, and she wonders why I make my own booze.

We have one of those corner cupboards with the revolving pan shelf thing in it
Like THIS I have found I can hide another 3 gallons of mead in the corner parts at the back and sides without the wife seeing them. Unfortunately I have used up all my demijohns and now have nothing to rack in to.

I'm running out of space at the moment, I might have to clear out a cupboard.
How long do you rack them into the demijohns for?

I leave them in the first until the bubbling stops them rack them in to the second to get the wine off the scum
them I leave them in the second until it settles and clears, rack once more, leave until clear and then bottle. Takes different times for different wines but it means you should always have an empty demijohn to rack in to.
You can leave the finished wine in the demijohn for ages without bottling it if you so chose to, some wine makers say its better to mature in the demijohn rather than in a bottle but its personal choice. Maturing is different with different wines too. When I make a red I drink it all within a month of bottling, when its Mead I leave for 6-12 months.

I don't have the patience or space for that.
But I am thinking about getting a secondary fermenter for the beer to make bottling easier and to get rid of some of the yeast gunk.

I bought a load of books recently and I'm tired and crabby today
so I shall stay in bed and read until I force myself to go to the bank in order to ask them very nicely to let me have some of my money so I can go drinking tomorrow evening.
Sunday will be spent crying to the walls because I'm alone and have nobody to cry to about my hangover. Then I might read some more.
All of this well be in conjunction with hissing at the sun and keeping all my curtains drawn.

That is because Norwich locals can't read
and have therefore kept the library pristine as a place where they worship the literate god-people that keep all this knowledge for their benefit. They wander around going ooh and aaah at all the magical knowledge paper and leave gifts at the altar of the high priestess Libe-Rary Anne.
