Yes thank you.
Been to the hospital today for my 6 month window licking epilepsy review. Everything fine which is good.

Cooking Thai food this evening & planning the next stage of work on the garden.
(, Thu 20 Sep 2012, 17:41, Reply)
You on pills for your fits?
Friend of mine got diagnosed, and is trying all sorts of alternative therapies. Doesn't seem to be helping much.
(, Thu 20 Sep 2012, 17:43, Reply)
Yes.
I take Lamotrigine. There are quite a few different drugs for epilepsy as there are different forms of the condition.

The only alternative therapy that could work is to wear a crash helmet, so your friend doesn't hurt themselves when they have a seizure. Epilepsy is caused by brain chemistry. Only chemicals can adjust chemistry.
(, Thu 20 Sep 2012, 17:47, Reply)
Jesus can adjust chemicals

(, Thu 20 Sep 2012, 17:48, Reply)
I can adjust myself with chemicals

Tell him not to be a selfish cunt. Other people often get injured when someone has a fit.

(, Thu 20 Sep 2012, 17:53, Reply)
Kinda,
Still feel like a tit for wasting my whole day. It should've twigged that it might not be right, because he's fitted the thermostat (which is on the same dial as the oil pressure gauge, therefore fitted at the same time) was attached to the return pipe from the engine, rather than in the radiator, or at least on the inlet pipe.
it's really wound me up. I'm sorry monty, i'll go have a shower and go to the pub, that'll help.
(, Thu 20 Sep 2012, 17:42, Reply)

(, Thu 20 Sep 2012, 17:44, Reply)

In your place again tomorrow
12th floor West Block.

They're going for stupid money for what they are - wish I'd invested now but I didn't think it would take off.
(, Thu 20 Sep 2012, 20:35, Reply)
I thought they weren't for sale and were just owned by the building's landlords?

(, Thu 20 Sep 2012, 21:04, Reply)
Management and leasehold is with Landmark, T/A whatever those plaques say
Upper floors had to be sold to fund the finalisation of the development.

One of the biggest landlords is the North Leeds Sikh Temple Trust.
(, Thu 20 Sep 2012, 21:11, Reply)
The roof leaks
And there's never been a bar or restaurant in the dedicated bar/restaurant space on the ground floor.

Would love to see the view from the top floor though.
(, Thu 20 Sep 2012, 21:13, Reply)
I've done a few on 12th and 13th
The view is stunning.

The build quality and standard of management is poor though. I do a lot of work in a development in Shipley and for the cost of a season ticket you'd be in a far better place, well built, well looked after and save yourself a good £100 a month.
(, Thu 20 Sep 2012, 21:18, Reply)
Can you sneak me in?

(, Thu 20 Sep 2012, 21:21, Reply)
Was just thinking that!
Not tomorrow, I'm tight for time, but next time I get one with a bit of slack I'll let you know.

Trouble is that the windows are barred hoppers and are all filthy outside. Last time I was on 12 a steam train came through the station. The photo is of grime with a smudge.
(, Thu 20 Sep 2012, 21:26, Reply)
alright TD

Now then CC - ooh, I'm breaking the mold here. EDGY!

no one has anything to say
(, Thu 20 Sep 2012, 20:38, Reply)

You could always start a new thread.
(, Thu 20 Sep 2012, 20:39, Reply)
I can't think of anything to start one with
my brain seems to have just switched off completely lately
(, Thu 20 Sep 2012, 20:56, Reply)
That isn't usually an impediment round here.
I'm not really giving this my fullest attention and it's an early night for me too.
