I didn't say it was only getting a vinyl release.
I said that it wasn't getting a CD release.
If we are talking about dead/dying formats then CDs are the ones that will ultimately become obsolete.

Well, yes.
But CDs are still the majority medium, barely. Or they're second, anyway. Difficult to hand out mp3s from a suitcase.
