I've had a tedious middle-aged IT drone
Bang on about the Stereophonics at me until I wanted to rip my own plums off, then stick one in each ear to drown it out.

That sort of thing?

that new f type looks tasty

(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:35, Reply)
It's overpriced. Almost £60k for the entry level model IIRC.

(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:36, Reply)
ent it 80 for the v8.
It's still all about the 911 bro
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:38, Reply)
Or a Vantage.

(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:41, Reply)
Must be a "new" one due soon
The rest of the range has been refreshed
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:43, Reply)
dunno, astons all look the same and have done for years. In all the excitement they seem to have forgotten to employ a designer
i don't know if the stories of lack of reliability are true or not
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:44, Reply)
A mate of mine has one, never had a problem with it.
I'd quite like an Audi R8.
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:47, Reply)
nice motor, better than the 911 as a set up, and less of them littering the streets

(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:51, Reply)
Mrs van dam got to drive one and fucking loved it

(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:53, Reply)
Says the man who wants a 911?

(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:49, Reply)
yeah, but you can differentiate between the whole porsche range pretty easily. Try that with the astons. Also whichever way you dice it the 911 looks great and is always subtly improved which is part of its attraction. Stick a 70's 911 next to a 13 plate

(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:53, Reply)
I love old 911's
I watched a documentary on Singer Porsche the other day, such a great concept
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:56, Reply)
they're nice, however next to a 991 they look a bit gay

(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 9:04, Reply)
Plus it's not too big for British roads
a Lambo for example is wider than a Transit.
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:56, Reply)
it's a shit stupid car that s too low and way too garish

(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 9:04, Reply)
I kinda get the feeling you don't like them

(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 9:06, Reply)
Bit fussy around the gills, but the rear looks good.
I LIKE A NICE REAR OLOLOL
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:37, Reply)
it's a nice looking motor, ok, just leave it yeah

(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:39, Reply)
I've got to go and fix a friends skoda tomorrow,
I don't know why anyone would buy an octavia, the electrics were clearly done by someone with no concept of the technology they were working with.
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:38, Reply)
It's a VAG thing, I think. My A3's the same platform as the Octavia
and the electrics in it are madness.
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:43, Reply)
my plan is just unhook everything non essential.
The trip computer seems to send everything loopy
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:46, Reply)
YES.
Had the steering column replaced my volvo recently (recall). Now the car wants to pull to the left. Thoughts?
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:37, Reply)

Your steering column was probably made by the sort of fighty oiks we have in our city centre on Saturday nights.
I wouldn't trust its safety.

I'd love to get either a Tickford Capri or a Rover SD1 (the 3.5 Vitesse)

Never really been a fan of Capris, though.

morning locals.
One of the neighbours insists on sitting his car at idle for 10 minutes every morning. It annoys me for some reason.
Why are we bullying chompy? I've been busy the last couple of days.
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:36, Reply)
I live on the same street as a school
And people park on the zigzags every day. REALLY pisses me off.

Thing is, it's a catchment-only school, so they should be living well within walking distance anyway. Lazy cunts in Pompey, I tell you.
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:43, Reply)
morning sexy knickers.
That is pretty cunty, I hate people who park right up on the pavement in a double yellow because their time is too precious to walk the 100 yards from the actual parking slot.
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:39, Reply)
At the end of our cul-de-sac, there's a chip shop.
An endless procession of cunts park across the mouth of the street. Some of them get very upset at passive-aggressive notes on their windscreen saying 'if you needs your chips so badly you have to block the road rather than walk an extra five yards I'd consider giving them up, fatty'.
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:42, Reply)
Named after the Marquis de Sac

(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:42, Reply)
I'm a fan of note leaving.
We've got limited parking on my street, so if someone does that thing where they take up 2 spaces, I like to leave a note explaining their idiocy. It was in the parish newsletter as "phantom angry note leaver"
I'm practically a bond villain.
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:44, Reply)
You'd make a good Bond villain
I'd like to be a Bond villain's #1 henchman. Named "Mr" something.
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:45, Reply)
'windy Pig' is a great title for a Bond film.
Adele could sing the song and it'd be a description the artiste and the film.
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:47, Reply)
Haha
It practically writes itself. Also, 'Ginger' rhymes with 'Ninja'. There's something in that, certainly.
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:48, Reply)
Yet it doesn't rhyme with 'singer'
Weird, eh?
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:50, Reply)
English is such a prick!
AMIRITE?

It's certainly a bastard mongrel of a language.
But I rather like it.
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:52, Reply)
Yeah, I think I'll stick with it
for now
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:58, Reply)
That's no way to speak to your wife

(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:46, Reply)
I was crossing the road with my kids
and some cunt that wasn't looking where he was going reversed towards us on the zigzags. I dropped my kids on the pavement, leaned in through his window and scared the shit out him. "Alright mate!"..."I'M NOT YOUR MATE....MOVE_YOUR_CAR!" It was quite satisfying, but my kids berated me for it afterwards.
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:42, Reply)

(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:40, Reply)
Yeah I know, but I just don't care. It's annoying

(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:41, Reply)
maybe you should go down and confront him about it?

(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:42, Reply)

(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:56, Reply)
AB has run away from /talk like a rat on a sinking ship. he's trying to make his mark on here.
Dozer seems to enjoy backing him up. /shortversion
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:39, Reply)
ab likes to latch on to one person and use the same joke over and over at them.
See Ringo and other members of qotw for reference. What got him poking his troll stick at you?
(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:41, Reply)
Something to do with Chompy having a dislike of images on /OT.

(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:43, Reply)
but I moaned about that more than him.

(, Wed 17 Apr 2013, 8:44, Reply)

I put him people on temporary ignore if the photos are annoying me. This is a great injustice so AB is constantly posting pictures to prove a point... To be honest Im lost.
