I threw out all of my tapes about eight years ago.
I have about 600-700 CDs from the days in between all the record shops closing and me discovering the internet.
I'm strictly vinyl only these days, unless something I really want is only available on CD.

Fuck I gave away my video player about 5 years ago
What I liked about my tape collection was I could tell roughly what age they were if they was on TDK D90's that would be all Pre 1985 stuff, If they were on MA 90's that would be about 1990

Most of my tapes are mixtapes of rock and metal stuff.
Before torrenting came along I used to do my bit for the destruction of the music industry and taped loads of stuff from my mates.
