confront the reality of my flat situation
Now I have done so it doesn't seem quite so bad

Good.

Had a 2nd online valuation today; just a grand less than the other one.
If I realise the price they suggest I'll still have 60 grand change once I have paid everyone off.

Don't blow all that on music and drugs.

(, Tue 4 Jun 2013, 17:44, Reply)
Only about ten grand of it

(, Tue 4 Jun 2013, 17:46, Reply)
I didn't after my last flat was sold and I won't this time either

How much are motorbikes these days?

(, Tue 4 Jun 2013, 18:16, Reply)
Variable, one like the one I've mentioned above is about 8k I think.

if you can find something else you like
Like one of those schemes where there is a gifted deposit and the developer pays the stamp duty or something, in a year or so you and lusty might be able to apply for a joint mortgage - if you had cash in the bank as well, it could all be good. Fingers crossed.
(, Tue 4 Jun 2013, 17:54, Reply)
my credit rating will be utterly fucked for another 3.5 years

(, Tue 4 Jun 2013, 17:57, Reply)
A joint mortgage though.
A two skin, blue skin one.

Move to Wallsend, they're practically giving houses away there.

Alright DG.

(, Tue 4 Jun 2013, 18:15, Reply)
Alright Jeff.
I see Jeffstock 3's a goer; if we can make it we will. Probably not know until nearer the time, though.
(, Tue 4 Jun 2013, 18:17, Reply)
That's fine - I'll stick it on the calendar.

(, Tue 4 Jun 2013, 18:20, Reply)
Good stuff.
Right, I'm away shopping. Joy of joys.
(, Tue 4 Jun 2013, 18:21, Reply)
Isn't it a bit of a shithole though?

(, Tue 4 Jun 2013, 18:18, Reply)
THATS THE JOKE!
On the plus side it's got a lot of Roman heritage, which Monty loves.
(, Tue 4 Jun 2013, 18:20, Reply)
Ah, humour.
It's the beginning of Hadrian's Wall isn't it?
(, Tue 4 Jun 2013, 18:22, Reply)
Or the end, depending on your viewpoint.
The Roman museum there is quite good.
(, Tue 4 Jun 2013, 18:23, Reply)
Yeah just realised.
The name "Wallsend" was a bit of a giveaway.
(, Tue 4 Jun 2013, 18:31, Reply)
Mate, just think of the Space Marines army you could buy with that. You'd have a fucking epic Gamesworkshop army.
Fuck it, for that kind of cash, you could get a Space Marines army and play them in Warhammer (instead of Warhammer 40k), and bribe the marshell not to say a word. Space Marines would totally win against wood elfs.

I expect boyce would end up jamming his veteran sargent up his nose, for a laugh.
"try a saving roll now bitch!"
(, Tue 4 Jun 2013, 18:22, Reply)
