He's kind of got a point, though he's not putting it terribly well.
Retroactively applying modern standards and definitions to cases thirty or more years ago is slightly dodgy justice. Has the definition of child abuse remained the same for these past forty years? I have no idea.

i don't want to agree with this (and not just because it's kroney) but i kind of do
different standards.

also, there is a huge difference between a 15 year old girl all dressed up and made-up and looking to pull, and a sick child. also, i know what some of the girls in my year were like at school, for example - frankly you'd have feared for the grown men, in some cases.

Well Bill Roach has been charged with 2 counts of rape against a 15 year old girl
and five indecent assaults involving four girls aged between 11 or 12 and 16. I don't think the "they were desperate to lost their virginity" defence will cut it.
