Do they have that work thing in the NE?

(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 14:34, Reply)
There's actually quite a lot.
Granted, a high proportion of it is shit, and jobs in my field are like gold dust...
(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 14:36, Reply)
Silly DG
You get gold dust in mines not fields

Contract ends next Friday
and due to political shenanigans it can't be renewed. Got an interview at 4pm today, so I'm at home now prepping. Only 2 days a week, and possibly only a month as it's medical cover, but close to home and a bit of breathing space. And still better than the dole!
(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 14:35, Reply)
Good luck man

(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 14:38, Reply)
Ta. It's not much, but it's better than nowt!
Although the job itself is only 4 miles away, I have to go to sodding Alnwick for the interview.
(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 14:40, Reply)
Blimey
At least Alnwick is nice though

So compared to that this is a hop and a spit away.

London for a job in Manchester
(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 14:47, Reply)
There was a logical reason behind it as it was national recruitment and Manchester was deemed to be central.
