Noah and the Whale.
Anyone heard this track?
The line, 'And there'll be love, love, love/ All over her face' cracks me up every time.

Ace.
I've never been able to work that out, instead I'd just sing:
'and there'd be love, love, looove/all umdee dumdee'
Mind you, that's what I do for most songs... even my own band most of the time. Lucky I'm only expected to play bass.

Gunther
the singer in my band does that too
but to be fair on him, he makes up the words in the first place (usually as he goes along) and who are we to judge whether the song actually goes "dum-de-dum-dum" or not!

Very true Vipros
Our singer is quite good for making up songs on the fly, but then forgets what he sang first time round and makes it up again.
It's fine, except for when you're waiting for a cue to change to a different section and it doesn't come because he's sang something completely different from what you expect.
It's only once we've got it recorded that he remembers (without holding a piece of paper, which doesn't look good at a gig).
