Quick question
If you step onto a moving escalator, which is going up, and you quickly realise that you need to be on the level that you was already on, do you turn around and try to get down the moving escalator?

In another example, if there was only an up escalator, which meant that getting back down a level would entail the manual labour of actually walking down a normal set of stairs, situated two minutes away, would this sway you into trying to get back down the escalator?

In short: I have too much time on my hands and Wood Green needs more downward travelling escalators.

I'd use the stairs.
I'd look too comical trying to run up the down escalator, it'd be like the travelator at the end of Gladiators.

There's a lot of stuff Wood Green needs, razing being one of them. Glad to know someone else is experiencing its joys.

As for the question, I would carry on going up. Dignity needs to be maintained, even in Hood Green.
