Im slightly hungover today, and my upstairs neighbours seemingly doing impromptu Riverdance at 3am didnt help.
Do you get on well with your neighbours?

Classic Chutney Jase!

At least I'm trying!
Do tell us a regaling tale of record buying and house renovating!

Tell us about your faggoty weekend checking out new bedsits.

They make it very clear they've got no room for ravers :(

The 'It's a royal knockout' deleted scenes
must make for some quite harrowing viewing.
(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 12:50, Reply)
The broadcast scenes were pretty bad

My neighbour
has a problem 15 year old who was stealing from her and taking the drugs. Also one of my cats kept stealing her pants off the washing line and taking them into our house.
(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 12:46, Reply)
I'd like to make it clear that
The cat thing is absolutely true and is in no way an attempt to build up circumstantial evidence to defend against a conviction for stealing a 15 year old girls pants.
(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 12:48, Reply)
Your honour.

(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 12:48, Reply)
I'll give you £20 for them

(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 13:01, Reply)
£25
I've worn them.
(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 13:02, Reply)
Deal.

(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 13:10, Reply)
What do you mean "are they over"?
My neighbours on one side are fine. The other side are commoners in a too-small house for their burgeoning family. The youngest child was crying and tantruming for at least five hours this morning.
(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 12:46, Reply)
Next door's brat has been tantruming for the last two years
with occasional five minute breaks when exhaustion puts him onto the floor
(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 12:51, Reply)
I don't know how the parents haven't killed him yet

(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 12:52, Reply)
This kid started at 5am and was still going when I left for work at about half nine.
This is far from an uncommon occurence. I don't know how *I* haven't killed it, yet.
(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 12:54, Reply)
It's probably the mother

(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 12:55, Reply)
They have two children in a two bedroomed house.
It's as bad as Sangatte over there.
(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 12:57, Reply)
Do it, the parents will probably thank you

(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 13:01, Reply)
Doubtless. The police are so very unreasonable, however.

(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 13:06, Reply)
Just tell them you're legal-variant or some shit, and that repressing your freedoms is blatant institutional crimophobic bullying

(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 13:16, Reply)
As in, shall we become a Republic instead.

(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 12:52, Reply)
highly unlikely

(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 12:53, Reply)
Oh I see. You meant "over" as in "disco".
You may not have noticed, but they're not a fad.
(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 12:55, Reply)
In that case, no.

(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 14:08, Reply)
Dunno yet, I've been in the house for exactly a month so far and haven't talked to them yet.
Which I suppose is a good sign; at least they're not hardcore partying young people or anything.

Alt: Portuguese fish cakes, tomato rice, salad, baguette, cheese.

Altalt: what, Liz, Phil and the gang? Since when have they ever done anything other than endorse marmalade and soak up taxpayers' money?
(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 12:49, Reply)
Celebrate good times COME ON!

(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 12:52, Reply)

Alt alt - The new one
looks a bit like Brain from Pinky and the Brain.
(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 13:09, Reply)
My neighbours are great.
On one side they're both retired and in their 60s, never had kids, massive disposable income, and as a result spend maybe half the year somewhere else on holiday.

On the other side they're both well into their 80s and are as deaf as posts. I put their bins out and old Tam brings mine in.

Alt: Had mine thanks.

AltAlt: Over? What do you mean - like flares and mullets? I don't think it works like that Jase.

DELOLT THIS PLEASE

(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 13:59, Reply)
I think it's fair to say that Jason has made a right old mess of this thread, and has ruined the whole day.

(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 14:57, Reply)
Christ almighty, I'm bored.

(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 15:29, Reply)
I had a lot of things to sort out, so what I did was went to the pub for lunch instead.

(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 15:43, Reply)
Seem reasonable to me.
It's certainly what I'd do, were I in your position.
(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 16:01, Reply)
think you were a little premature with awarding this to jayse

(, Mon 7 Mar 2016, 16:03, Reply)
The only contact I've had with my neighbours
is a not slipped under the door from the flat below saying my cigarette ash and butts are falling down onto their balcony.

I have subsequently tried to be a bit less casual with whether I get them in the ashtray/flower pot or not.
