A question
Mr Bin and I have been thinking about joining one of these online film rental things.
So we are both on our laptops looking to see what we can find. He's on Safari and I'm on Firefox. He is on a macbook pro and I am on a macbook. (no mac flaming please).

He says "Lovefilm.com are expensive, their cheapest deal is £10" "No", I say, "I'm on their site and they do one at £4"

Well try as he might he can't get it to come up with the £4 deal.

Any ideas what's happening?
We've emptied the caches.

I just looked
On my iBook, in safari, and it said £3.99 a month. Let me now check firefox.

*a pause in time*

And I'm back. In Firefox, mine is saying £3.99 too. I was wondering if it had been the common 'not making sure stuff works on all browsers' issue, but it would not appear so. And it confuses me muchly.

And I don't have an answer for you I'm afraid.

I wondered
If it knew he was on a Mac Book Pro and figured he had money.

Google Chrome
Showed both at www.lovefilm.com/learn/

Only thing I can think of is getting your lines crossed with the unlimited £10 a month one and the limited £4 a month one.

:edit: Not trying to suggest you're unable to communicate - It's simply the only cause I can think of.

A distinct possibility
The price that you pay for a Pro I suppose.

Edits again - Opera showed the £3.99 one too.

@ Captain
We sat next to each other, same web address, looking at the same page. On his there where only 3 boxes with the offers in, on mine there were 5.
On mine on Safari there were 6 price plans!

We are even on the same static IPs

Then I'm completely stumped
This is madness!

Well this is just odd.
Also we were both getting different free trial offers.

He managed to get the £3.99 offer on firefox, then copied and pasted the web address over to Safari. Still only had the £10 price.
