It got broken round about the time the code monkeys were making loads of changes to the site. I doubt it was removed deliberately. More likely that it was missed out of the final code release. The error message indicates a missing chunk of code (an undefined function)...

If it was removed on purpose, well fuck you b3ta. It was a bloody handy tool for separating the wheat from the chaff.
