25 people
have died from bushfires in my state since friday. six people were in the one car and are thought to be all one family.

it was hot and disgusting weather. What is worse is that something like 19 fires were deliberately lit.

Whoever lit those fires deserves to be burnt at the stake.

Every year here, without fail during fire season some dumb fuck always starts the first one....the major fire we had in Yorba Linda before Christmas was started by someone throwing a cigarette out of their car.

This is far worse then Ash Wednesday. Melbourne broke it's all time heat record - Laverton was 47.9.

All I can think of is how awful it must be for the firefighters who are not being sent to fight fires - but to look for bodies where fires have been through.
