Doctors - specifically, GPs

how are you
My GP, has the mildly irritating habit of saying "hello, how are you" when I visit.
I don't know whether he's asking me as a standard pleasantry (response: not too bad, thanks, but my chalfonts are giving me gyp.) or my doctor (response: My arse hurts).

-going to a psychiatrist with a list of symptoms and having them ask what medication you think you want.
