Ok fair enough there are probably loads of 'Rubbish towns', but what really makes my blood boil to the point of needing to see a toddler fall over on gravel just to calm down, is when people spend their lives whingeing to whoever will listen about how their town sucks mahoosive dick.

It's usually taxi drivers who are the worst offenders, but most people are guilty of it at some point and i can't say i'm exempt.

Ok, i used to live in Basingstoke and i didn't really care for it much, but you know what? I moved somewhere i liked! If you don't like it just shut up and bugger off for shit sake.

I live in Basingstoke and thought about posting when I saw this QOTW... but decided not to when I realised (1) a gazillion people had already posted up similar replies and (2) kk does kinda have a point.

So, why complain about Basingrad/Boringstoke/Basingstoke being shit? Because it's a meme, people love memes, remember b3ta is half built on them. Never mind that you wouldn't recognise the town centre from ten years ago, the concrete hell hole meme will drag on for longer yet. That said, if everything else was equal, I wouldn't choose to live here. But then I don't think I'd find a job elsewhere that pays very well and gives me huge freedom to tool about on pretty much anything that interests me at the time.
