I'm 21 as well fella
I know every single feeling you've detailed in there. You were lucky that you never fell for your own best friend, and wasted a year lusting after her.
I'm lucky that I was a late bloomer, and only started talking to girls from the age of 14 onwards.
Even so mate, cracking post, well written, and brilliant that this all worked out well for you.
*click*
(Btw, the naked photo idea? GENIUS. That is all.)
