The date is just an addition to the movement, I've had date wheels disconnect from the crown stem, the movement is fine, the watch works, but the little screw that attached the date wheel was loose , quick fix and right as rain

This might just be an impression,
but it seems to be that even some really trivial things can count as assault, i.e. you don't actually have to beat the stuffing out of someone for it. Under the legal definition, you can theoretically assault someone without even touching them.

I really don't want to hurt anyone
so, on the rare occasions that people have tried to start a fight with me, I've either ignored them and walked away, or taken a couple of hits and walked away.
This made sparring during karate lessons a ridiculous affair - I'm good a pulling my punches, but generally wouldn't throw any at all (especially not at women, but that never stopped them unleashing on me).

which was the result of a long bullying campaign against me, until one day I had enough. Chased the perpetrator from one end of the school to the other and kicked fuck out of him.
Never got bullied again.
In adult life, Ive never been in a situation where I've had to fight.
I've separated a few in my bar work days.
I've moved people along if they've started on my mates, but never had a punch up.
