We're all going to make a book together and it's going to ROCK.

We're going to let you into a secret: B3ta isn't a website, it's a machine, a machine that creates content.

We've got image challenges, we've got questions and it's all designed so that anyone can post, and our highly educated staff of editorial goblins can pick the good ones and tell the world via our front page or newsletter.

Lately we've even introduced voting so that you can help us find the interesting stuff that we should let the world know about.

We've been thinking, ok the machine can produce a website but can it produce a book?

We say FUCK YEAH! We can probably use paypal donations to fund a trip to the moon if we put our mind to it, but that's maybe a plan for 2007. Let's keep things simple. Let's make a book.

We'll give it to you straight. The book is called "The B3ta Bumper Book of Sick Jokes."

Look above you. We want people who can make lovely pictures to fill the page on the left, and people who can remember sick jokes they heard down the pub to help us fill the page on the right.

1. Pick your favourite sick joke and illustrate it

• Pick a joke from the list
• Make an illustration at 300 DPI 5" x 8.5" - that's a whopping 1650px X 2550px
• Upload a 72 DPI thumbnail (or 280px wide one) and link to the bigger one
• Keep it copyright legal by either using your own drawing and photography, image libraries such as Stock Xchng, Morgue File & IStockPhoto, or a stock DVD such as Hemera Photo Objects
• Post it in our sick joke image challenge which we'll be keeping open for a bit longer than our normal challenges

2. Tell us a sick joke

• We've already got a lot of sick jokes but we need more
• Tell us another in our sick jokes QOTW

3. Vote

• Please vote on both the images and the jokes to help us find the very best stuff – use the ‘I like this' button. Use it wisely

• Editing the list of sick jokes from currently 1,700 of the little buggers to something more readable
• Designing the book so it's all lovely
• Pitching like a dog to publishing companies to take on our book
• And some secret extra stuff we want to keep as a surprise

• Big piss-up for every contributor in London (when we launch the book)
• It's fun seeing your stuff in print
• All contributions will have credits - who knows what the exposure will lead to?
