This is a link post Mirror Symmetry I made this!
Here's a little project I've been working on this week.

It grabs photos from Flickr on any subject you like (e.g. kittens, or other fluffy things) and then presents them as pairs of mirrored halves. (If that makes no sense now, it will when you vist the site! :-) )

The results can end up quite weird and strange. :-)

I think there are probably two reasons why this doesn't work. Firstly, I use tags for searching for the images, and also the page will only use photos that have been attributed with the appropriate Creative Commons licenses, so that I don't have photographers complaining at me for inappropriate use.

If you tagged any of your images with a unique tag (perhaps your username) and changed the license, they should be searchable on the symmetry site.

I'm thinking of perhaps letting you put in the URL of any image of the web, but I'm not sure if I'll be opening myself up to copyright complaints, especially if I allow permalinks to these.
