: ARE YOU ONE ON MATEY?
Bez, Mr. C, and dodgy ravers in a new animation.
B3ta member Rob and his friend Lucy were
chatting about their families.
Lucy said, "Can we animate my Dad going to a
rave? And turning into a bat?"
Rob replied, "Hell yes! I reckon he'd be
partying with Mr.C and Bez from the Happy
Mondays."

: PENGUIN / SLEEPY ECHIDNA GAME
A web game about the forces of nature.
Woo for B3ta member Shoehorn. He's made us a
game.
It features - you guessed it - penguins.
You have to use your mouse to herd the penguins
across the screen without waking the Echidna.
The game is tricky, but as Shoehorn says,
"Nature provides no warnings. Just be more
cautious as the penguins get further across."

: ODD TODD - HE NEEDS A JOB
Animator makes viral CV.
Todd Rosenberg used to be a director at
AtomFilms - the website that attempted to connect
animators and filmmakers with new clients.
However - since their huge layoffs in June - Todd
has been out of work. "I've been on the skids ever
since", he say. "I've cashed out my pension fund."
To help him find work, Todd has attempted to
build a viral CV. I.e. one that provides
enough entertainment for people to pass it
on via email.
He says, "Hopefully the right person will see
it and offer me the right job. It's already
generating interest - I've made $150 with
my tip jar."

Way of the exploding stick.
Do you remember the fighting stickmen animations
which everyone was emailing each-other a few
months ago?
A man called Jez Becker does - he's taken
the graphic work - and turned it into a game.
Jez says, "The chap who designed the graphics is a
master. I'm sure he's sitting on top of a mountain
contmplating the lotus, the grasshopper and the
hand of the nine deadly flash techniques."
(BTW: Jez has recently quit his web design job to
take off round the world. "I'm currently seeking
work", he says, "Anybody want a Bristol based
flash bloke?")
