: THE RETURN OF THE MISHEARD LYRICS
  Featuring Destiny's Child.

At B3ta we've been running an occasional
  series of animated misheard lyrics.

Joel from Rathergood says, "I am a complete
spacker and have cloth for ears. I thought it
was about time for the public to hear the
true lyrics to the Destiny's Child track,
  Independent Woman."

  Listen vary carefully now:

  BTW: Previous misheard lyric animations
can be found in issue 13 of this newsletter.

: B3TA ADVANCED CHALLENGE
  Not Photoshop, but Macromedia Flash.

We've decided present a new challenge that
will stretch even the advanced members of
  b3ta community.

We've got a tune & we want you to make an
  flash video for it.

Simon Panrucker has supplied the MP3, It's
very funny, a live kazoo reworking of
  Kernkraft 400's Zombie Nation.

: WEB WIZARDS: DESIGNERS WHO DEFINE THE WEB
  UK web-art exhibition.

The Design Museum in London is currently holding
an exhibition featuring the work of Joshua Davis,
Danny Brown and Yugo Nakamura, designers who have
  received much press recently.

The first floor of the museum has been taken up
with projected animations, iMacs and old gaming
  consoles.

However, placing the work in this context adds
little to the experience, simply serving as a
stamp of approval from the non-web design
  community.

So, save yourself six pounds and a cold walk,
  by viewing it online.

Best stuff? Danny Brown's engaging, hypnotic
  and beautiful interactive work.

  Worst? Joshua Davis's soulless exercises
  in advanced technique.

: DRAW YOUR MUM & DAD
And get featured in an online exhibition.

Craig at Flipflopflyin is asking you to submit
drawings of your parents for his website.

He says, "I hope people do nice pictures of
their parents. My site was a mum & dad free
zone, all the people who live there seem to
  exist without their families."

There are already 15 entries, check them out
and then submit your own drawing (we have.)
