Last week we announced B3ta would close, if we
didn't get some cash to pay for a server to
run the site on.
We have been overwhelmed by the response. We've
had letters of support, Starbucks vouchers and
best of all ... $3,500 of cash.
We love you all. You rule, damn it!
As our target is $5,000 - we've still got some
way to go.

: FAKE THEIR DEATH UPDATE
Site closed, culture jamming success.
A couple of weeks ago, Internet terrorist Flibz
launched his "Fake Their Death" site.
This allowed people to enter someone's name and
create a fake BBC or CNN news report of their
demise.
Of course this was closed down by CNN lawyers
within 3 days.
But not before the Scottish newspaper, The
Daily Record, picked on one of the 25,000
faked pages and reported it as "SICK WEBSITE
KILLS OFF CELT."
