You need to do more of theseAnd slowly and deliberately improve the art style, all the while pretending you can't do any better than this but always making sure you're actually about twice as good as the cartoons you're drawing so that you've got a buffer for when you get lazy/sick/preoccupied. It worked for Questionable Content. (Come to that, it worked for PhD Comics, too.)
