They want Silverlight to be the main platform for games on their Windows 7 phone
so basically they're forcing people to start using it. At least, that's the last thing I heard.

I had a lovely meeting with some MS guys once, and when I asked the question, "So, what percentage install base do you have for Silverlight 2 & 3?"
After a long pause, came the answer "It's used a lot in hospitals"
It was fun making them squirm.
