# The apocalypse
and conspiracy theories are popular too, are they not?

Along with any hideously misshapen animals, humans or animal/human hybrids...

maybe that's just stateside...

# Sadly
these aren't parodies of supermarket tabloids like the Enquirer... these are almost-identical recreations of official newspapers over here :-D
(, Sun 13 Apr 2003, 16:12, archived)
# hmmm
very different.

# We do get the Enquirer as well
but it's not as widely enjoyed, possibly because it merely re-inforces popular opinions of America and americans - the locals don't see it as parody, more as documentary. ;-)

I know the truth...

# I'm afraid some of our locals
really do see it as a documentary...very scary

# Is it just me...
...or does Charles look suspiciously like wossname out of 24?
The guy who runs CTU.
You know the one I mean, Mason I think.
And you never see them together, either.

# George?
I think, based on my pic, Charlie should grow one. I like his look!

# that
beard suits him actually, he doesnt lookas much of a tool

# I came up with
the alliterative title the other night, then had to design a front cover around it.

# how
old is she?
(, Sun 13 Apr 2003, 16:14, archived)
# Old enough
And old enough to get everywhere on the internet. Like a virus I tell you, a virus!

# is it just me
or does the "page 3 stunnah" look like she should be gracing the pages of jailbait or legal?

/edit probably just me
(, Sun 13 Apr 2003, 16:14, archived)
# you're right
even though page 3 girls can be 16, she looks younger... but she's not, or else she's pulled the biggest fake-age scam since Traci Lords.
(, Sun 13 Apr 2003, 16:26, archived)
# 16!?!
that's ick.
(, Sun 13 Apr 2003, 16:27, archived)
# they only show bare boobies, or occasionally just bums
our age of consent's 16, and the pictures on page 3 are more "here's a girl who forgot to wear a top doing something rather normal"

Edit: But that girl stars in her own porn site, so she's got to be over 18

# I still find that repulsive
16 is very young.
(, Sun 13 Apr 2003, 16:36, archived)
# It has to be with parental consent
but it doesn't happen often, and usually they flop - only real "exception" is Linsey Dawn MacKenzie, who was never going to be considered a child.

I wonder how much her parents regret letting her pose at that age?
(, Sun 13 Apr 2003, 16:41, archived)
# I
agree.

16 is way too young for any sort of sexual imagery.

Although I will cop a look at the odd 16-yo (but I'm allowed; I'm only 16 myself.)
(, Sun 13 Apr 2003, 16:45, archived)
# hah
I'm 18, I guess two years doesn't really make that much difference, but at 16 how can you know how having pictures of your girlie parts all over the place is going to affect you?
(, Sun 13 Apr 2003, 16:49, archived)
# I think some could
but most wouldn't be able to understand the consequences.

That and dirty old men/women looking at teenage girls/boys is quite high on the yuck scale to me.
(, Sun 13 Apr 2003, 16:54, archived)
# you have no idea
how much I agree with that last statement!
(, Sun 13 Apr 2003, 16:57, archived)
# you forgot to mention
that if a word is too long/challenging, you abbreviate it by chopping it in half and adding -er or -zza
