# Fuck that stereotype. Men love to cook
They can't talk enough about how great their food is. They just leave it for 'special occasions' i.e. when they can be arsed. Then they use every pan imaginable and don't wash it up because 'dinner will get cold if we don't eat it now'.

3 days later there is no cutlery, no plates and I'm eating pot noodle with a Debenhams card.

# So is the beardedwife's
He actually cooked a stir fry yesterday which was amazing and, while he left the washing up straight afterwards, when I woke up this morning it had all been done.

Only took 5 years of training. Next, how to take the washing out of the machine once it's finished.

# I wash up as soon as I have eaten.*

*The dishes and cutlery may or may not stay on the draining board until needed again.

# Beardedwife is the king of washboard Buckaroo
I've seen stuff piled two foot high but it will never occur to him to put away the dry stuff before embarking on a new bowl of washing up.

It turns into washboard Jenga when you want a plate that's on the bottom of the pile
