Can't get past level 3

It was one of those games
where if you wanted to play it, you had to slap the cartridge a few times on your leg, waft it in the air, and blow inside it.

have to put the cartridge in and pop it out again 3 times before it would read the whole thing?

OMFG yeah
Once, i threw Double Dragon II against the wall, after using all the above methods.

Believe it or not, it then worked.
