I'm actually looking forward to the opening ceremony.If it's naff, we can just laugh it off and say that we Brits never take anything seriously, and neither should the rest of the world.
And if it's any good, we can swan about, rubbing our nipples and winking at every foreigner we meet.
Hail or fail always makes for interesting viewing, and I'm guessing quite a few images from the ceremony will make it onto /board by tomorrow lunchtime.
