Still new at all this...haven't found how to compress the size of gif files...if there is a way...so I just took out a few frames and made it black and white.

/edit: i use ulead gif animator, I just use the optimiser that comes with it and change the entire thing to lineart 64.

there should be optimisation settings in most software to reduce colours/quality.
What are you using?

# this is still 128 colours
i could bring it down to 32 or 16 for added oddness, it's harder to do that with text in an anim though as it becomes unreadable often.
Grab this image if you want it i'll delete it off my server later on.
