# In the proper north they're not called Eccles cakes.
They're called Chorley cakes if you get them from a bakery and Divil's Nose if you make them yourself.

(In between Eccles and Chorley). Both make different cakes, Eccles is about 2" diameter and stacked with fat and currants, Chorley is larger with less fat, not as tasty IMO.
