when cats "sing" on fences
people throw shoes at em cos they make a godawful racket. The thought behind that is, if cats ruled the world, Pavarotti, who is considered one of the worlds finest tenors, and a dirty perv, would be considered a "godawful noise" hence a cat throwing a boot at him...

Cats.
They stand on fences and yowl to attract mates.

This tends to happen at night.

It's not nice if it happens near your bedroom.

So people lob stuff at them to make them stop.

I didn't say it was a good idea, but it's the only idea I've had in two weeks
