My dog escaped into a field of sheep once.He had one pinned down in the corner, we went over to grab him, ready to avoid shotgun shells from a miffed farmer. We pulled him away, the sheep got up, shook itself off, and walked away.
Turns out the daft mutt had just been licking it.
Some guard dog he is.
