My budgiedecided it liked playing with the tape from an old audio cassette, so I unscrewed the casing and took the reel out. One day it was messing around with the tape when it got in a frenzy and took off. The tape had got caught around its foot, and as it flew away my sister caught the reel and sent it circling around her head like one of those toy planes. Eventually wore itself out and came to a skidding halt on the floor, a bit dazed but ok.
