Thredjack I'm afraid... Take that mcD's, you big lieing thingy with arches on the roof

'McDonald's insisted it had not misled its customers: 'To include all processes related to fries production, however immaterial, would detract from the point of the advertisement - to explain that our fries are made from real, quality potatoes.''
What a great defence for pure lies in advertising - 'telling the truth would...uh...detract from the...uh...lies...'

How do you know?
If you've never been in. Did you get someone else to pop in for you?

Arses. The subject of junk food this close to lunch
has started my dormant BK cravings up again.

yeah
about a month ago in paris (near les halles I think) there was a McD's closed down with slogans all over it.
Initially I thought it was vandalised, until I saw the posters were printed and placed inside. i couldn't tell what they said other than genrally being not nice abou tMcd's food, standards, and the way they treat their employees.
I guess the french, with their strong worker's rights, ran up against the world's most anti-union food corp. If so, I'm guessing the frnachise was shut down and the staff wanted to tell the city about their treatment.
