since the early-mid 90's it's slowly being turned into a big T shirt shop. Despite laws against KFCs and the like in old town, it's become very sanitised and corporate.

It used to be so charming and decadent and to me was a slice of heaven... *sigh*

I haven't been since around 1996/7 ish.
