Strange thing happened this afternoon, every time I tried a preview, the name of my link changed before my eyes to moleste.jpg. Space monkies or not nobody is knobbeling my account so I post X's, been there before, took a year in therapy to get over it so :P

I assumed it must be anything with the letters h u and g in that order. Hence why h.u.g and h.u.g.e work. Guess not though.

you need to rename the image
so it doesn't include the letters h u g sequentially.
so "hugecock.jpg" won't work, but "h2ugecock.jpg" will.
the reason for this filter being in place is beyond me.

you can defeat it
by inserting redundant html tags in the text thus: hu[i][/i]ge
(replacing the square brackets with html angle brackets of course)

the filter was put there
because an unnamed mod got shirty with the 'unseemly' amounts of hugging and generally fluffiness that was occuring on /talk. When Rob removed the swear filter he left the hug filter on for comic purposes
