# What's the big deal with Firefox?
Opera is clearly the better browser.
*dons asbestos undies*

# Yes,
Opera is a lot better. Shame you have to pay for it, though.

# no you don't.
you just have a tiny little ad banner on it.
(, Sun 6 Feb 2005, 20:36, archived)
# It's possible to replace the banner with your own, too
If you block Opera's ad-servers in your proxy or hosts file, and replace banner.png (I think) somewhere in the Opera directory, it will proudly display your own banner instead.

# You mean...
like Photoshop?

# Yes,
but Photoshop outstrips any free alternative.
Bleh, IE works for me. As long as it's XPSP2 IE, all is good.

# But the Gimp
is shit and buggy.

I can allow Firefox - it's buggy but not that shit.

# i use
GIMP and it's great

# Sadly,
I've never managed to have the Gimp run for more than 5 minutes without falling over. So I base my opinion on that...

# Me, too
and it's great. But only on Linux. The Windows version is not as good. Photoshop just confuses me. Doesn't work like the Gimp, you see.

# I use GIMP
on win xp.
