[challenge entry] there is nothing funny about the titanic

except that it contains the word 'tit'

(and it wasn't in the 1950's either - but close enough)

# slight threadjack
can someone give me a 'hint' of how to turn something black and white in potatoshop? i've found a pretty inefficient way of doing it, and it doesn't have the effect i want.
any help appreciated.

# you should be able to go
image->mode->grey

or try photocopy somewhere in filters

# You're inefficient way is to sponge the color out, isn't it.
Cause I did that once.

# Under the "Image" Menu
there's a submenu called "adjustments", and one of the options is "Desaturate". This will turn the layer to black and white, although the image will still be in RGB.

Alternatively, you can use "Image"/"Mode"/"Grayscale", which will convert all layers to black and white.
