Where do you get the impression that Americans suffer from censorship? We're guaranteed free speech in the constitution.
Private schools can keep books they don't like from their libraries, but this is mostly in the South where people are idiots and I have no excuse for them. Even then, you can find anything you want in a public book store...or on the Internet for that matter.

Freedom of speech in the constitution ...... as long as you don't discuss decryption, copy protection, communism, pro-life within 100yds of an abortion clinic, anarchy, political issues before elections ...
