What is a bay

Well bay is a type of horse as in

CAMPTOWN RACES

The Camptown ladies sing this song
Doo-dah,doo-dah!
The Camptown race track's five miles long

Definition of Bay

Bay: The body is brown although the shade of brown may vary from very pale brown to very dark. The mane and tail are black. The legs are black from above the knee downwards. Bay is the most common colour in the horse.
