works the same as a Crumplezone in a carthe increase in size (especially as fat is easily moveable and malleable and not attached as tort that muscles and so on) would allow the momentum to dissipate over the greater distance, thus decreasing the final force acted upon the body

Thank you kind sir.There was one discussion with someone that went no-where though. They said you could easily burn up if you jumped off a building.
