Serious question:Do you make these cartoons as 'elements' and then stick then together in photoshop? It's just that I've noticed the bodies of the characters are identical in some frames, with just the eyebrows for example changing.

Each strip has a base image or panel that's sketched out on paper........that's scanned into photoshop and digitally inked.
If the strip is simply of two characters talking (like the one above), it's quicker to cut and paste, altering things like eyebrows and the angle of a character's head, rather than redraw the whole thing 4 times.
