You live in Manaton?
I used to live in Moretonhampstead!
Who'r'you?
By the way, are you claiming that Bowerman is your great uncle?

I have a feeling I used to deliver dog food
to a Mrs James in Manaton.

Possibly,
Miss James - big house near Water - two liver and white springer spaniels, keen horsewoman, about 80 now though.
That there is her brother on top of a fucking great rock.

No idea.
I am a bit older and went away to school.
I only go back to visit these days, but I remember Gillian because I spent a dirty evening there on the way back from the Kestor once.

Ah well,
It was after I came back from Bosnia, I must have been 21 and she was 18.
Seemed a bit bad at the time, but looking back doesn't seem bad at all.
Nice girl as I recall, but I obviously remember her better than the other local girls for this reason.
Funny how things change.

Hops, winks or magic button?
I always thought the magic button would have been best value... that's what I wanted anyway.

Gus is still going.
You have to go to Flambards to see him. Hear he's a bit washed up and on the scotch now.
