in the near future...
...radioactive waste, ebola and a mystery prion falling from the stars will decimate the human population and mutate many (if not most) of the remainder. the sick will slither about, centipedes the size of government employees will rule the earth, and among us all in this post-apocalyptic world will walk the living dead....

so instead of digital mucking about, i decided this compo needed some vital rps content. i builded it all by myself and 'donated' it to the local cemetery down the street from me, the necropolis. do-it-yourself pics and an alternate location shot:

a bigger, better cropped version of the above shot.

i'd not seen it, thanks. great job on the drawing and animating. i like the music, too, a good romping instrumental always works.

just a few hours of fun.
worst part was sorting through the lumber until i hit on the idea of using a thin sheet of veneer for the sign -- i could cut it and round the corners with scissors.

I'd probably just go out
and buy an off-cut of some 3-sheet ply.

i have a jigsaw...
...but i hate dragging it out for little projects. and, the added weight of a bit of real wood would have meant making a post, too, since there are none in the cemetery (it's a pedestrian zone, no signs anywhere -- had to attach this to a trash bucket).

on sour cream?
(
Milkman Dan, Mon 19 Jun 2006, 23:51,

they have to.
after the sell by date passes, they store it for another three years and resell it as cottage cheese.
