good stuff!learning languages after childhood ends is rough - adult brains just don't adapt as easily to the plan, so good on you.

True, but I believe that ancestral languages do come kinda naturally, if you open up to it.Certainly I find German and Maori easy to pick up.. haven't tried Norwegian or Gaelic yet.

i'm stuck with half-forgotten french and spanish......though i am fluent in weasel and can decipher craigslist ads.
