[challenge entry] yup, texting on a picture...

I'd like to know what the National Gallery would make of all this. Should have asked them to judge the compo...

# Threadjack.
Right, my most mental of extelligence sources.

I'm looking for a painting to doctor for the compo. Things is, I dont know its name, or the artists name. My dad does, but he's on honeymoon, and I'd hate to interrupt his rutting.

The Picture basically involves a Knight, a Maiden, and a Dragon. The Knight and Maiden are both in profile. The Knight is behind the maiden, as the maiden is a mask allowing the night to get near the dragon to slay it. Knight is wearing (I seem to remember) dark armour.

Dragon on left of painting, maiden in middle facing left, knight at right behind maiden facing left.

Does this ring any bells for anyone?

# What style?
Holbein, Rembrandt, Van Gogh or Three-Year-Old-With-Crayon?

# style?
Well, its almost medieval. Highly stylised. You only see the head and shoulders of the Knight/Maiden.

Very dark tone and feel.

Unfortunately, its none of those below.

Not even the horses thing : )

I was almost certain it was called something like "Another Time" or "Another Place" but google says no.
